Director of Cardiovascular-DIRECT HIRE

The Director Cardiovascular Surgical Services is responsible for planning organizing directing and controlling the administrative and operational activities of the CV Perioperative Services CV Operating Rooms CV Anesthesia and PreOperative Clinic.

The Director will drive the quality and resource management to ensure the implementation of current standards of practice and care. He or she will work collaboratively with the physicians and other departments to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Responsibility for compliance and regulatory standards will be required. The Director along with physician medical and surgical directors will lead the development and implementation of strategic and business plans for these services.

The Laboratory Manager has operational responsibility for coordination and delivery of services for the CV Laboratory Services Department, with specific responsibility for administering projects and personnel policies and procedures across a four-campuses within the health system. These responsibilities are performed in accordance with system, hospitals, and department mission and strategic direction and regulatory requirements.
Requirements: Must have 6-9 years’ experience in interventional cardiology or electrophysiology, to include structural heart disease; Must be a Registered Nurse in MO & KS; Must have BSN

Job Description:
Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care. Schedules emergent need patient appointments, identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, and duties as assigned based on clinic need. Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. Subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. Enters admission orders as directed by provider.

Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.

BLS required.
